Jan Hempel competing in the mens 10 meter platform diving in 1988 doing a 5237D. That is a back 1 1/2 with 3.5 twists. Jan went on to compete at the following 1992, 96 and 2000 Games. He competed for Germany. He won a silver in Atlanta and a Bronze in Sydney.
