Tropicana Las Vegas Demolition Update 09 09 2024

This is my Tropicana Las Vegas demolition update taken on Monday, September 09, 2024. Today is exactly one month away from the scheduled implosion taking place on October 09, 2024 at 2:30am. Today, I filmed from the OYO parking deck. You can see from this video that the demolition is moving fast. Most of the lower structures around the front tower are now knocked down. They have all of the excavators working around the front tower to clean and separate the debris. It won't be long before there are only the 2 towers left. The rock crusher equipment has been moved a little. As I was filming, the crew started up the equipment to start crushing the concrete.
The rear tower did have some crews inside removing more debris. The lower building on the east side of the tower appears to be the same as my last video. I guess they are working more to get the front tower demolition first.
