Fall King Salmon Fishing in the Columbia River Dead Zone (Day 1)

In this Fall Chinook fishing video we headed out to the Columbia river. We are chasing fall Chinook. These fish are a prize catch to fisherman in the pacific northwest. These fall Chinook can range from 10 pounds to 40 pounds. The Columbia river has been fishing very well this year. Fall Chinook can be caught on a variety of lures and baits. This season you have been able to keep wild Chinook salmon and hatchery Chinook salmon due to the run this year. The fall Chinook run has been very good and will fish into November. Coho salmon have also entered into the river. You may only keep hatchery coho salmon at this time.
