Spot jamming is a type of electronic interference where a jamming device targets a specific frequency used for communication, making it difficult or impossible for devices to communicate on that frequency. The jammer essentially "blocks" or "floods" a particular frequency with noise, preventing legitimate signals from being transmitted or received.

Imagine you're listening to your favourite FM radio station.
The station broadcasts at a particular frequency, say 101.5 MHz.
If someone uses a jammer to send noise on the exact same frequency, you would no longer hear the radio station—only static or interference.
The jammer is effectively blocking your ability to listen to the station by targeting that spot (the frequency 101.5 MHz).

How Frequency Hopping Works Against Spot Jamming:
Randomized Frequencies: Frequency hopping changes the communication frequency rapidly and randomly, making it difficult for the jammer to keep up.
Resistance to Interference: If a jammer targets a single frequency (spot jamming), frequency hopping ensures the devices move to a new frequency, avoiding the interference.
Continuity: The sender and receiver are synchronized, so they both hop to the same frequency at the same time, ensuring the communication continues without disruption.
