IPD high flow exhaust

IPD USA no longer sells the exact model I have in this video. They do now sell a stainless version, and stainless header pipe. I have not tested any of the following products, IPD USA has a good reputation, read the reviews and do your own research. I do not recommend deleting the cat, I don't believe you will get any performance advantage on an NA brick, maybe it would be worthwhile to get a race cat for a turbo brick. All a cat delete is going to do is change the sound, and give you an unburnt gas smell out your exhaust, IMO

This video was recorded with my canon T2i and AZDEN shotgun mic.

All but the last 2 clips are with a bone stock B230F with M cam, and lots of valve lash. The last to clips are B230F with B cam, and properly shimmed valves.

I use full throttle up to 5k in all of the clips except the no muffler clip, that was just way to loud. All the different exhaust setups sound better in real life, because my microphone pics up the clackety valves and other odd sounds better than the real exhaust note, but this is still a very good comparison. The launch clip gives the most real sound.

In my opinion the IPD exhaust is great, stock fit, sounds great, good volume. Its enough that you can always hear it, but it is not bothersome at all, and its nice and loud from the outside.

Another decent option is to delete the rear muffler and run a pipe from the resonator out the back. This sounds pretty good, but is quite loud. louder than I want for a DD.
