This webinar is a part of a webinar series co-organised in collaboration with the China Europe Water Platform and RAI Amsterdam with a focus on Urban Water. The series aim to promoting exchanges between European and Chinese players in the water market. The webinar was held on 18 May 2021.

The series aim to promoting exchanges between European and Chinese players in the water market. Through this collaboration, the EU SME Centre will also participate in this year’s Aquatech China Trade Show which will take place in the beginning of June in Shanghai.

China and EU have set ambitious targets for achieving energy efficiency and carbon neutrality. The Water Sector must contribute. How to reduce the sector’s carbon footprint? Which solutions are available for energy efficient water resources provision? How to ensure net-energy producing wastewater treatment plants? How to reduce NO-emissions for WWTPs? How to integrate wastewater treatment in resource recovery plants?
