Ambassador of Iran to India, Mohammad Fathali hinted at ongoing ‘negotiations with Indian side’ on the subject of Chabahar Port after India freezed the funding for port-related development and operational activities in 2026 budget. Speaking on the subject he, said, "About the port of Chabahar, we have negotiations with so many countries, particularly with the Indian side. We have a good relationship with the Indian side. I hope that we boost and strengthen our relationship with India."
