BMW Port Injection: You MUST Get Your Injectors Checked & Serviced

I have read about a few cases where other people have fitted N54 port injection and experienced engine failures not long after. Knowing the only real cause for these would have to be issues with injectors, i thought it would make sense to get my second hand ones tested before installation.

Speaking with the man who owns the injector testing machine, he said a lot of the issues he sees with injectors are often down to a lack of use. So if your N54 isn't your daily driver, getting the port injectors checked is a very good idea.
