3.0. HOW TO CREATE AN INDIVIDUAL ACCOUNT ON OBRS

How to create an individual account on OBRS (INFOGRAPHICS & NARRATION)

Both nationals and foreigners can create individual accounts on OBRS if they have a valid email address

Furthermore, Nationals are required a valid National Identification number which is commonly known as a NIN

While

Foreigners are required to have either a passport or an Alien ID that is uploaded during the application process


To create an account:

a. Go to the OBRS home page and click on the ‘Create Account” button

b. Follow the prompts while providing the required information depending on your nationality

c. Type the email address and phone number in the “Email” and “Phone” fills respectively.

d. Check the “Terms and Data Policy” checkbox and click “Register” to submit


e. An activation link is sent to your email address


f. Go to your email inbox and click the activation link to confirm your email address.

g. You will be directed to a page with a message informing you that your email has been verified.

h. As another layer of authentication, Click the “Verify Phone Number” button to verify your phone number.

i. You will be directed to a page to enter an OTP that has been sent to your phone

j. Enter the OTP to verify your phone number and a message will be displayed informing you that your phone number has been verified

k. Then create a password and system will validate it

l. To login into your account, Use the registered phone number as the “Username” and enter your set “Password”
