Célébration du Voting Rights Act de 1965

Le président Lyndon B. Johnson donne force de loi au Voting Rights Act en signant ce texte législatif le 6 août 1965. La loi interdit la discrimination raciale contre les électeurs issus de minorités et elle permet aux Américains d’exercer leur droit fondamental de voter.
