Esmeralda Basin Trail

This ride is in central Washington's Wenatchee National Forest. This is a 16 mile long loop ride from the De Roux Campground on the North Fork of the Teanaway River. We traverse the Esmeralda Trail over Fortune Creek Pass after a side trip on the very steep Lake Ann Trail. The views on the entire ride are spectacular with the saddle above Lake Ann being particularly memorable. Once through Fortune Creek Pass we rode up the South Fork of Fortune Creek to Gallagher Head Lake, then returned to camp via De Roux Basin on the De Roux Trail.
