About the 2012 Best CFOs Awards Dinner
This year's top chief financial officers were determined by Institutional Investor magazine as part of its 2011 All-America Executive Team: Best CFOs ranking, based on a survey of more than 780 buy-side analysts and portfolio managers and 570 sell-side analysts at securities firms and financial institutions. These individuals were asked to nominate up to four CFOs in each sector. These votes were then weighted, with first place votes counting more than second place votes, and so on, to produce a score for each executive that II used to compile the ranking
