In this video, I go over the ENTIRE process of growing lion's mane mushrooms from a syringe of liquid culture AT HOME. Lion’s mane is one of the best mushrooms to start your cultivation journey with because it’s absolutely delicious to eat, powerfully medicinal, and also happens to be one of the easier ones to grow.

I explain how to make grain spawn from your liquid culture, then how to use it to spawn fruiting blocks and fruit your lion’s mane. This is just about the cheapest and easiest way you can do it at home, and is a great entry point into the world of mushroom cultivation.

Sealing bags without an impulse sealer:
If you don’t want to buy an impulse sealer, you can use micropore tape or zip ties. To seal them with micropore tape, just fold over an inch of the bag and secure it down with one long strip of micropore tape on the front and back of the fold. You can also just cinch the bag as tightly as you can using zip ties.
