10 mistakes I made my first year as a Christian
1. Gossip Ephesians 4:29 29 Do not let any unwholesome talk come out of your mouths, but only what is helpful for building others up according to their needs, that it may benefit those who listen
2. Slander other pastors / ministers 1 chronicles 16:22 “Touch not my anointed ones, do my prophets no harm!”
3. Watch Christian tiktok james 1:6 But let him ask in faith, with no doubting, for the one who doubts is like a wave of the sea that is driven and tossed by the wind.
4. Argue with family member about Jesus "Hatred stirs up dissension, but love covers over all wrongs." - Proverbs 10:12 dissension - disagreement that leads to discord
5. Take advice from unsaved family members/ friends 1 John 4:5 They are from the world and therefore speak from the viewpoint of the world, and the world listens to them.
6. Listen to music i use to sin in Ecclesiastes 7:5 It is better for a man to hear the rebuke of the wise than to hear the song of fools
7. Isolate myself Proverbs 18:1 Whoever isolates himself seeks his own desires , he breaks out against all sound judgment.
8. Expect to be perfect over night Philippians 1:6 And I am sure of this, that he who began a good work in you will bring it to completion at the day of Jesus Christ.
9. Try to talk to a guy right when I was saved Song of Solomon 8:4 Daughters of Jerusalem, I charge you: Do not arouse or awaken love until it so desires.
10. Idolize other Christian youtubers / influencer / preachers
