To maximize compartmentation and follow department tradition, this #AerialPlatform is designed without a pump or tank. Behind the crew cab, a transverse, full body-width compartment with a slide-out tray offers the capability to retrieve tools and equipment from either side of the body. The swing out tool board is adjustable to accommodate specific tools to maximize space within the compartment. To enhance maneuverability in tight spaces, TAK-4 T3™ Independent Rear Suspension provides ease of navigation in #VeniceFL. Cribbing and shoring equipment are stored in the under-body compartment at the rear of the body. The chevron pattern extends around the rear corners, enhancing apparatus visibility when responding in high-traffic areas. In the rear officer’s side compartment, a custom shelving configuration offers dedicated storage for the department’s specific extrication equipment. The crew cab is designed with ample storage for both ALS gear and capacity for growth of the department’s paramedic program needs. The Roto-Ray is mounted lower off the front to avoid distracting the driver or officer when enroute to calls.
