A video has just been discovered of famous singer Slim Whitman's appearance at the 1982 Annual Conference in Wichita, Kansas. This is a transfer from VHS, so the quality of the footage is not great. But it's the only known video of that appearance. Slim Whitman, who joined a Church of the Brethren congregation in Florida, was known for his yodeling abilities and his smooth, high, three-octave-range falsetto in a style christened as "countrypolitan". He stated that he had sold in excess of 120 million records. He died on June 19, 2013.
