The International Monetary Fund has released its regional economic outlook reports, including that of Sub-Saharan Africa. This follows the release of their World Economic Outlook earlier this week. The regional outlook give more detail on how economies are faring in a given area. The IMF is pegging Sub-Saharan African growth at 3.6% in 2024 and 4.2% in 2025. While for South Africa, it's forecasting growth at 1.1% for this year, and 1.5% in 2025.
