I've had this Corgi Juniors Capri in my possession for some time. I had decided to restore it, but thought to myself that these Corgi models from the early 1980s tend to be a bit lacking in the decal department. This casting is pretty well equipped, with a detailed plastic grille, opening bonnet, and chrome plated engine that is connected to the interior. Sadly though, no detailing was originally applied to the red body, so the back end is very dull indeed. So I've taken it upon myself to 'Resto +' it. I stripped back the blotchy, rough paintjob that has been layered across it and repainted it in a shade similar to the 'lacquer red' used on some Mark 3 Capris. I add in the grille details, rear lights and badges, while coating it in Citadel for that slightly aged look. I love the outcome, and hope you do too!
