Seaton to Eddystone July 24

Описание к видео Seaton to Eddystone July 24

Last Monday's trip to The Eddystone was a last minute decision after a day of gardening, the weather was right and it just seemed the right time to go. A few miles out there were loads of birds, gannets, shearwaters, storm petrels and all sorts, milling about in big crowds. I could see dolphins feeding about a kilometer away so I sat and waited and they slowly came over to check me out then were gone. Eddystone was quietly spectacular as always. About 5 miles from home I could hear a fair few dolphins around me but far too dark for the camera to pick them up, likewise when a startled guillemot dived down highlight by swirls of bioluminescence. A lot of paddling but a lovely trip.
