Lucilius Zero (No Timer) - Siegfried Solo without AI Attempt -

Описание к видео Lucilius Zero (No Timer) - Siegfried Solo without AI Attempt -

Updated run that cleared!:    • Lucilius Zero (No Timer) - Siegfried ...

With the 10 minute timer out of the way, I can finally have some fun! Full disclosure, I used an external program (Cheat Engine) to freeze the in-game timer to allow me to progress much further in the quest solo without AI. Without this, I can't even get him below 50% HP as seen in this run:    • Lucilius Zero - Siegfried Solo withou...

Think of this as a "what-if" scenario for a final solo challenge! This was the first run I managed to get to the DPS check which I unfortunately didn't meet, but I learned a lot in this attempt that still gives me hope for a clear by trying some new build options and strategies!

Here's some of my thoughts on this run and ideas for future attempts:

- Taking Stamina is risky for this solo as the mini-labors he does throughout the fight are on a very short timer and even a small mistake can cause you to fail it (especially Dark Gospel), resulting in the max HP debuff which permanently decreases the effect of Stamina. I think saving SBA for the sword phases is a good idea since they are a bit more annoying to deal with compared to the original quest, which may allow for Stamina to remain viable! I'm going to try Enmity for a bit and use up Guts/Autorevive to lower my max HP when I can since everything will one-shot me regardless.

- For my build, I dropped Glass Cannon and picked up Autorevive instead as it's an incredible test of endurance to play like this for up to half an hour and I'm not quite experienced enough to make so few mistakes. This also makes Guts an actually useful subtrait on my War Elemental! I dropped an Alpha to get Combo Booster as well since Lucilius buffs his own DEF and lowers your ATK with certain moves.

- I need Lucilius to get the DEF/regen buffs rather than ATK/supp damage buffs when he enters overdrive again at ~25% HP in order to break him out of it before the DPS check! This is due to the hidden 30% DMG Cut that overdrive gives him which makes the DPS check even more impossible to do solo when he stacks DEF, regen and 30% DMG Cut! I played the DPS check pretty well in this run but it wasn't even close due to him still being in overdrive and Stamina being effectively gone. I also forgot to Verdrangen to debuff his DEF so that's another area for improvement.

- After some testing, I found out that which buff he gets is determined by what buffs (if any) are cleansed from you as he does this. For example, having DEF up cleansed from yourself will grant him DEF up and regen later in the fight, and having no cleansable buffs active will default him to ATK up/Supp damage. I want to avoid giving him regen prior to his second overdrive as it will simply prolong the fight, but taking advantage of it on the second overdrive is crucial for breaking him out of it before the DPS check at 10% HP or below! Now I simply have to figure out exactly when to put up the DEF buffs to give him regen at the right time.

- I had to look up videos on how to use Cheat Engine to find the value for the quest timer in the game's code and freeze it, which wasn't as difficult as I thought it would be as I have no experience using the program! I have a simple cheat table that allows you to freeze the timer at 10 minutes if anyone's interested in giving this solo a try for themselves and I could link the file in the comments if requested. Hopefully someone on nexus with more know-how can make a mod for the timer instead as that's a bit easier to use in my opinion.

I'll definitely be back with an improved run in the future. I do need to play some more Elden Ring in preparation for the DLC though, so I'm not sure exactly when my next upload will be. Thanks for watching!
