Glamour Health Update #3

A couple of weeks ago I got back from a business trip and Todd told me that Glamour’s back was not happy. We went to the vet and they said it was inflamed and had the beginnings of arthritis. They said they didn’t think she needed the Solencia shots yet and gave her some pain meds and a steroid. That seemed to help but a couple of days ago she seemed to start having trouble. She would not even try jumping up on the couch or her favorite chair. I built some steps for her so she could get to her favorite places. We went back to the vet and he said while the x-rays didn’t show arthritis she was having trouble so we are starting the Solencia shots. We will try that for 30 days and if that is working we will continue with the monthly injections and if not we will look into alternate treatments. Our goal is to make her as happy and comfortable as we can.

Todd is a 7-year-old neutered male cat at the time of this video. Todd and his dad have been learning to communicate with each other since May of 2022 with the help of recordable buttons.
