If you wonder what should be changed, ask the people who are most affected. Gemma Spadea is an 8th-grade student from Clinton Central School. In her free time, she likes to listen to music, play guitar, and she is currently watching all of the Marvel movies in order. She also is student council president. Her favorite animal is a squirrel, and some of her favorite books include Scythe, They Both Die at the End, and Holding Up the Universe. One day she hopes to get a job in science or engineering and to make music and art when she’s not working. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at https://www.ted.com/tedx
