This is a retake of the lovely elevators at the Marriott Marquis in Times Square, NYC.
These elevators use the Miconic 10 system; instead of pressing up or down, you type in the floor you want to go to and it assigns an elevator labeled by letters and will also point you in the direction of the elevator assigned. The elevators each have a letter above them on each floor to show what each elevator is labeled as.
In addition there is a separate handicap feature that can be activated by pressing the handicap button and typing a floor. In addition to saying it on the screen it will announce on a speaker which elevator to take and then another speaker by the assigned elevator will say car letter of assigned elevator and the letter above it will blink.
