The Corporation of Thiruvananthapuram buys 60 new electric buses for its city circular service and hand overs to Kerala Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC) under its subsidiary company K Swift for city operations. The fleet consists of 60 Eicher Electric buses (9 meter).

KSRTC has purchased sixty 9M Eicher Skyline Pro electric buses for its city circular operations. The electric bus has a seating capacity of 32 passengers & 1 Driver. There are 02 battery units which are serially connected which generates a power of 204 kWh. The batteries are of Lithium Ion and are IP67 rated. The bus can be charged in 02 hours -04 hrs using a DC fast charger The total range in a single charge is 300 km.
