I'm headed to Northern England, so I stopped for some travel photography in York.

I drove north from Kent where I was with @alajode. I'm heading towards the Lake District for a meet up and collaboration with a fellow travel photography youtuber. But, I wanted to stop somewhere along the way to shoot some travel photography. The city of York was the logical stop. Not only is it on the way, but it's meant to be absolutely beautiful.
For me, the drive up to York turned into a mission. The night before, I checked google maps and the drive up England was meant to only take a little over 4 hours. But, with all the traffic, the short drive ended up being a total of 8 hours. I spent most of the drive grumpy.
But, as soon as I got to York, all my grumpiness disappeared. I mean, when you shoot travel photography for a living in amazing places like this, how can you possibly complain.
And, even though I arrived really late and kind of missed the sunset, I had such a good time in York shooting images and exploring. Because I was late, I decided to actually turn this into a two day photography vlog. My first day I went out and shot the blue hour and placed like the Cathedral in York. Then, I went out location scouting for a bit before heading to bed.
After a fairly sleepless night, I got up and went out and shot dawn photography in York as well. I headed to some of the iconic places in York like The Shambles and The City walls. And though the light wasn't perfect, I got some pretty cool pictures of York.
York is one of those cities I'd love to go back to and spend 3 or 4 days taking more pictures. It really is a photogenic city.
Tomorrow, there will be another vlog from England, so stay tuned to the photography channel.
