More than a dozen people born following UK sperm donation may have been given the wrong genetic information about the biological parents.

An investigation by Channel 4 News has found a number of cases where donor-conceived people were given incorrect details by the UK fertility regulator, the HFEA. It has now confirmed that it is investigating up to 20 instances.

We spoke to one young man who was given a donor file, only for a DNA test to link him to another man entirely.
