Sky News host Rita Panahi says Giorgia Meloni has been “enormously successful so far” as Italy’s prime minister.

“She has tackled the illegal immigration crisis in her country and her tough approach has seen a 64 per cent drop in the country’s illegal immigration numbers,” Ms Panahi said.

“She has been so successful that Britain’s hard left Labour Prime Minister Keir Starmer went to Rome earlier this month to see how she does it.”
