Steamboat, CO: Sunshine Express - Take 2

Описание к видео Steamboat, CO: Sunshine Express - Take 2

This Poma Challenger high-speed quad started its life as Tombstone Express at the Canyons portion of Park City in 1997. In 2006, it was moved to Steamboat to replace the Sunshine triple, reusing the tower tubes in the process. Back on the Canyons, the original high-speed quad was replaced with a Doppelmayr-CTEC high-speed six, and that lift reused the Poma tower tubes. This was the last project under ASC before Intrawest. Overall, it is usually a quick ride and a great place to lap with wide-open trails and tree shortcuts. There are 115 chairs and 21 towers. In this video the lift was going slower at 750 fpm in actuality, but the video is sped up to 800 fpm.
Recorded Mar. 30, 2024.
This lift will likely be replaced with a Leitner-Poma high-speed six in 2025.
