Pir panchal Traverse Hirpora to Tosamadian

Pir Panjal range traverse in just one day from to Dubjan Hirpora to Tosamadian was a dream I had nurtured for a long time. Finally, the time had come to turn this dream into reality. Our team set out on the challenging trek from Dobjan, fully aware that this journey would be no walk in the park. The route we planned to take had never been attempted before, adding an element of thrill and uncertainty to our adventure.

As we started our trek, the weather forecast predicted rain in the afternoon, adding to the challenges we were already anticipating. The undulating terrain, with its steep climbs and descents, tested our endurance and perseverance at every step. Despite the initial high spirits of our team, the rain soon began to play tricks on us, making the trek even more arduous.

Traversing through lush meadows, we noticed that one of our team members, Dr. Shariq, was struggling to cope with the weather conditions and the strenuous trek. However, he soldiered on, giving his best effort despite feeling fatigued and drained.

As we approached Diskal meadow, a severe hailstorm hit us, but we stood firm in our resolve to complete the trek. With our taxi waiting for us in Tosamaidan, our destination was tantalizingly close. However, Dr. Shariq, realizing his limitations, made the difficult decision to bow out and descend to Doodhpathri with a fellow team member.

The moment was poignant for all of us, as we were mere kilometers away from achieving our goal, yet chose to alter our route in solidarity with Dr. Shariq. Descending with a heavy heart, we reflected on the camaraderie and bond that held us together as a team. Despite the unfulfilled dream of completing the traverse, the sense of brotherhood and mutual support we shared was what truly mattered.

In the face of adversity and unexpected challenges, we learned the importance of looking out for one another and putting the well-being of the team above individual ambitions. Our journey may not have ended as planned, but the memories we created and the unity we displayed will forever remain etched in our hearts.
