The words in this piece represent my faith in humanity—that within each of us there is an innate desire to show up and be there for one another ESPECIALLY during life’s storms. The longing of the human heart may not always be heard over the noise each day, but my plea to anyone with heavy heart is that you’ll find comfort in this music and hope. Hope for a better day and hold on to me or anyone in your path… you’ll be surprised how much good there is in humanity and desire to lend a hand and be there if only we knew. May this piece bless and comfort you. 💛

LYRICS
VERSE 1–
If you need shelter from the storm,
when the rains come knocking at your door,
Or if you’re tired of fighting on your own,
then take a look around, you’re not alone.
Look around, my friend, you’re not alone.
CHORUS—
Hold me,
Hold me through your winters,
When you’re sad or bitter,
And if you’re feeling low
Hold me!
Trust things will get better,
Through any sort of weather,
You are not alone.
You are not alone. You are not alone.
You are not alone. You are not alone.
No matter what is lost, you’ll never not be whole!
If you’re sinking, just reach up!
I’ll carry you to shore!
VERSE 2–
Many things far out of your control,
might chip away until they break your soul!
Don’t give up on your dreams, you’ve come so far!
And listen to yourself, love who you are!
CHORUS—
Remember you can hold me!
Hold me through your winters,
When you’re sad or bitter,
you don’t have to go—
Please hold me!
Trust things will get better,
Through any sort of weather,
You’ll never be alone.
You’ll never be alone, never be alone.
You are not alone, you are not alone!
And in your times of storm, I’ll carry you to shore.
As far as it may seem, you’re closer than you know!
BRIDGE—
In trials, in turmoil, when sorrow knocks on your door.
Hold me, hold me, you are not alone!
You are not alone - when the days seem long.
You are not alone - when the days seem hard.
When the days seem hard—
CHORUS—
Hold me,
Hold me through your winters,
When you’re sad or bitter,
you don’t have to go—
Please hold me!
Trust things will get better,
Through any sort of weather,
You’ll never be alone.
OUTRO—
If you need some shelter from the storm,
When the rains come knocking at your door,
If you’re tired of fighting on your own,—
TAKE A LOOK AROUND: YOU’RE NOT ALONE!
