In order to end the civil war tearing her empire apart, the Empress of Orlais is holding peace talks at a grand ball. But amongst the guests lie Corypheus' agents, which are planning to assassinate her and plunge the Empire in chaos. Thanks to Grand Duke Gaspard, the Inquisitor will be able to take part as a honorary guest in this soiree, and between exploring the dangerous corners of the palace and charming the Orlesian nobility, subtelty will be needed in order to root out the assassins before they reach the Empress.

Notes : since this quest's mechanics are a bit confusing, i decided to keep in everything from court approval gains, collectibles, to investigation clues, so if you want to read everything (as much as it's possible) or if you wonder "how the hell did you get this much approval", it should all be in the video (keep in mind i'm using a mod for the halla doors, can't open them all otherwise)

After finishing DAO and DAII, why not continue with DAI while waiting for news from the fourth game ? We're back on large-scale epic adventures, this time with huge maps and tons of side content, some of which could have been scrapped considering what they bring to the story...which is almost nothing. While many like this game for how it improved graphically and gameplay-wise, and most of all the visible care and efforts that were put in it, I still think it's the least interesting of the franchise. The cast of characters isn't all that great (aside from a few exceptions) there are very good moments but they are interspersed by endless fetch quests and useless grinding that makes the whole experience drag on far too long. But besides these minor drawkbacks, the game is still excellent : the music is incredible, the combat is a lot more enjoyable on higher difficulties, the graphics are gorgeous and of course, the story is still remarkably good. So in conclusion : dats good shit mate.
