Bangkok, Thailand - If you guys ever visit Bangkok and want something to do for a day, stop by the Chatuchak Weekend Market (ตลาดนัดจตุจักร). It’s a fun way to shop for souvenirs and try some fun Thai foods.

This market is huge, so be prepared to spend the entire day there. Also, be sure to drink a lot of water and wear sunscreen, as you’ll be getting a lot of sun at this outdoor market. Considered the largest outdoor market in the world, Chatuchak has over 200,000 weekend visitors from local Thai to foreign tourists.

If you do get hot or want to eat indoors, you can go to Mixt Chatuchak Shopping Mall on the northwest corner of the market. They have a large food court and individual restaurants. If you want to rest your feet, there are a lot of Thai massage businesses around the entire market.
