Audio a little low..

DIY sieve filter as a mechanical pre-filter instead of foam or brushes.
Mostly made from 4mm ply plus some other bits (whatever was lying around) and coated with a fibreglass resin to make it watertight and stop metalwork from causing any problems.
Gauss is 200 micron / 70 mesh (sourced from ebay)
I am very impressed with its performance as previous experiments in gauss filters usually required cleaning every 3 days.

Pond is 8' x 8' x 4' box , 1500 gallons

Mk2 will be more compact and maybe a finer gauss mesh
