Maynard Ferguson Behind the Scenes

This is a short film that chronicles what goes on when the band gets off the bus and gets ready for the gig--From the set up to the opening strains of "Blue Birdland," and through the end of the show, this is a film that all MF fans and former band members will love. The mini-documentary features interviews with the band and Maynard himself, along with concert footage and a few surprises. Shot in 2002 and premiered shortly after Maynard died in 2006. Shot, edited and produced by Bob Gould.
