The Tunnel Inn

I recently took trip to the Altoona, PA. area back in late September. While out that way I stayed at The Tunnel Inn which is located at the summit of the Allegheny Mtns. in Gallitzin, PA.

While staying there I encountered many trains on Norfolk Southern’s busy Pittsburgh Line. The trains keep running day and night. The deck provides a great viewing area with flood lights so the trains can be observed in darkness.

The Inn is very clean and well kept and highly recommended when visiting the area.
