Nevis Faces - Dave Cuthbertson

The last in a series of six films I made last year for the Nevis Landscape Partnership. All feature interesting folk who are very different but share a common interest - Ben Nevis. Dave Cuthbertson (Cubby) is a legend of Scottish climbing. I spent most of my twenties trying to repeat his routes! More recently, Cubby has focused on climbing and mountain landscape photography. This year, (finally!) he is bringing out a book on Scottish rock climbing photography. In this film, we spent the coldest night of the winter camping on the summit of Carn Mor Dearg to photograph the sunrise on Ben Nevis.
