A DIY loose incense recipe for you to try and enjoy.
Loose incense is a rather easy recipe to make.

Ingredients shown in the video:
Raal/dhuman/dhuna - Shorea robusta
Pine resin- Pinus roxburghii
Lobaan- Benzoin
Chandan- Santalum album
Kapoor- Camphor
Guggul- Commiphora Mukul
White Dammar- Vateria Indica

Tulsi Kapoor is the medical-grade camphor.

Sandal dust and powder can be bought on Amazon.

To make the incense:
freeze the resins overnight
pound them in a simple mortar and pestle separately
mix the pounded materials with the sandal and raal powder
add a little havan samagri to it.
Take 1tbsp of each powder and
camphor 1/4th tbsp.
Mix them all well and store in an air tight container.
Your nloose incense blend is ready to use :)
use it on hot charcoal/ upla/coir/ coconut shell/incense warmer.

when using on upla add a few drops of ghee, a few cloves and a little camphor on it and then place a little incense on it.

when the incense is placed on the hot upla it gives a lot of smoke and is good for smudging, which should be accompanied by the chants of Hanuman chalisa. this cleanses the house of negative energy.

when the upla has almost cooled down , add a little incense to it and this will give a good fragrance to the house for a long time.

you need not sift the loose incense blend if you do not wish to make cones out of it. in fact, if you are starting out it's best that you don't sift it.
Just use this incense as is and enjoy your own easy DIY loose incense blend :)
