After our trip to Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Parks, we decided to take the longer drive back home to Los Angeles. Driving down the California coast we stopped by Morro Bay, Pismo Beach, then Solvang.

On this weekend trip, we learned about the first Filipino settlers landing in Morro Bay, we ate probably the best cinammon rolls ever at Pismo Beach, and we devoured Æbleskivers and fed ostrich and emus in Solvang.
