I recently acquired a brand new CMD FD-4000 reproduction licensed for production by COREi64 (https://www.corei64.com). In this video I take the screws out of the case and give you a little tour of what it looks like inside.

I've never owned an original FD-2000 or 4000, but my understanding is that the board layout has been updated. And the case is new 3D-printed design that I'm sure has some differences that are probably interesting to see. All in all, I think it's a fantastic design. And I couldn't be happier with it.
