I am an extrovert, which has made real estate a complimentary profession to my disposition. One of my favorite aspects of working in real estate is getting to meet so many people. I am grateful for how many of my clients have become friends!

When I’m not busy with work I spend most of my time with my children, Harper and Beckett and our Great Pyrenees, Millie.

One way I maintain connections through others is through academia. I received my undergraduate degree in rhetorical studies from UNC Chapel-Hill, my masters in English from the College of Charleston and my PhD in Educational Leadership from Clemson University. Now my academic passions are pursued by being involved with IC Imagine and my children’s own educational path.

In the time I have worked as a REALTOR for Beverly-Hanks, I have been honored yearly with increased business and success. I love real estate and am grateful to be a part of a profession I am passionate about. My experience, as well as my positive personality, help you easily navigate the real estate process. Every home tells a story and every transaction is unique; make a savvy move with me.

Before becoming a broker, I was a college professor. I believe my educational background helps me stand apart from my peers and is another tool I use to help effectively close transactions; for example, I am very driven and goal-oriented. Those who know me understand I have grit--a quality that also serves my clients well. I enjoy using my academic background and tenacious personality to help educate buyers and sellers and support them as they accomplish their own dreams.

Another way I stand apart from other agents is that I am a local. I grew up in Hendersonville and while my higher education studies took me out of the Blue Ridge, the mountains “called me home,” as John Muir would say. I have been back in Asheville since 2009.

Here, I have purchased a few homes for myself; one of the homes required a renovation while managing a baby, a young child and completing my dissertation! It’s safe to say I understand the stress of moving. Whether you are buying or selling, moving across town or across the country, I can help you manage the process.
