In this video, we demonstrate how IronCAD seamlessly combines Structured Part mode and Innovative Part mode. This powerful workflow makes it possible to create models that are both parametrically driven and freely editable.

Using the TriBall, you can intuitively reposition the poles (Innovative Part), while the fabric automatically updates thanks to Structured Part. This results in a flexible, reliable, and easily scalable model.
We also use a custom parameter, the RadiusFactor, which allows the curvature of the fabric to be adjusted dynamically.

New in IronCAD 2026:
Show in Quick Edit – make key parameters instantly visible and easily adjustable through the new Quick Edit interface.

As an example, we import DWG/DXF measurement data and then position the poles precisely using the TriBall. The model updates in real time, enabling you to create an accurate construction very quickly.

This workflow shows how IronCAD helps designers work faster, more flexibly, and more efficiently from concept to final result.
