I recently flew with Turkish Airlines, and to be honest, it was not the experience I expected. Despite all the hype, I found several issues that made my journey frustrating.

✈️ The Food – Below Average
The meal options were not great, and the taste was disappointing. I expected better, given the airline’s reputation for in-flight dining.

⚡ Broken USB Ports & Entertainment System
Nothing worked! The USB ports were useless, and the TV screen didn’t function properly, which made the long flight even worse.

😒 Unhelpful Cabin Crew
The flight attendants were not accommodating at all. Simple requests felt like a burden to them, and overall, they lacked the warmth and professionalism I’ve experienced with other airlines.

🚨 False Advertising – No Free WiFi!
They promote free WiFi on social media, but in reality, it wasn’t free at all. You had to pay, which felt misleading.

💺 Extra Charges for Seat Selection
There was no option to pick a seat for free—I had to pay extra, which was frustrating because most full-service airlines allow at least basic seat selection at no charge.

✨ No Lounge Access or Upgrade Consideration
I even inquired about lounge access and an upgrade, but the staff was not helpful or friendly about it. Meanwhile, I see so many YouTubers getting free lounge access and first-class upgrades. Are they being sponsored by Turkish Airlines? Because my experience was nothing like that!

Final Thoughts
For all the hype, I expected much better service. Turkish Airlines is not worth the premium price if you don’t get basic comforts like working entertainment, decent food, and good customer service. I won’t be flying with them again anytime soon.
