Jenny Lewis on tapping into her unconscious to write her new album, On the Line

In 2017, Jenny Lewis was going through some painful and disruptive changes in her life. Her mother had died of cancer and she had also just ended a 12-year relationship with musician Jonathan Rice. That's when she sat down to write her new record, On the Line.
