BK-Betrieb:
Wenn ich ein QSO beschleunigen möchte benutze ich die Abkürzung "BK" am Ende eines Durchgangs um Zeit zu sparen, um nicht lange das Rufzeichen der Gegenstation und mein Rufzeichen sagen zu müssen. BK hat jedoch eine andere Bedeutung. BK-Betrieb ermöglicht zwischen den gesendeten Zeichen hören zu können, es ist hierfür eine Einstellung am Transceiver erforderlich, heißt man kann sich gegenseitig "ins Wort fallen" während man sendet. Oder anders gesagt, während ich sende habe ich die Möglichkeit zwischen meinen Zeichen zu hören ob mir jemand Antwort gibt. Somit ist mein "BK" nicht 100% korrekt, jedoch weit verbreitet. Jeder Funkamateur versteht daß er nach einem "BK" am Ende des Durchgangs antworten kann. Nach über 30 Jahren als Telegrafist kam es bei mir deshalb NOCH NIE zu Missverständnissen oder sonstigen Problemen !!! Also bitte kein Problem und keine Wissenschaft daraus machen sondern ganz locker bleiben !!!

BK-Operation:
If I want to speed up a QSO, I use the abbreviation "BK" at the end of a round to save time and not have to say the call sign of the other station and my call sign for a long time. BK has a different meaning, however. BK operation allows you to hear between the characters sent. This requires a setting on the transceiver, which means you can "interrupt" each other while you are transmitting. In other words, while I am transmitting, I have the option of hearing between my characters to see if anyone is answering me. So my "BK" is not 100% correct, but it is widely used. Every radio amateur understands that they can answer after a "BK" at the end of the round. After more than 30 years as a telegraph operator, I have NEVER had any misunderstandings or other problems! So please don't make a problem out of it or make a science out of it, just stay relaxed!
