Earlier this year I was contacted by a stranger who had just watched one my Microsoft interview prep videos and wanted to thank me for the content. Vincent introduced himself and told me that he was in the midst of interviewing with Microsoft and like any good candidate was doing his due diligence to prep. As I got to know Vincent, he told me he lives in Singapore, was applying for an Azure Technical Trainer role, and that working at Microsoft has been a DREAM JOB of his for a long time.

For most of my life, I’ve had the privilege of living in Canada and the US. But the years that I have not, have helped highlight the privileges and opportunities we have here that are much harder to come by in other parts of the world. There are millions of brilliant minds across the globe, some of which are looking to join us at Microsoft. Understanding how stressful these interviews can be, Vincent and I kept in touch during the process, did some prep together and I was very excited when I heard he got the job offer and signed on with Microsoft!
