Maya Israel, director of the CSEveryone Center for Computer Science Education, recently testified before the Florida Senate Education Pre-K-12 committee on the role of AI in education. During her testimony, Maya explained how AI learns and highlighted the need to teach about how AI works as well as how to incorporate it in the learning process. At the University of Florida, the CSEveryone Center is working to support educators in this space.
