This was the third Junior Scratch Tour stop of the season at AMF Riverside Lanes in Riverside, CA. Ashley bowls in the Open Division of this Tournament Club, which is mixed gender scratch bowlers with averages of 196 & above up to age 22.

Ashley had been steadily making her way through the pack during qualifying climbing into 1st place after the initial 5 games averaging 231.4 with games of 221, 195, 258, 236, and 247. In the semi-final 4 games of match play Ashley averaged 216.8 on the deteriorating lane conditions with games of 214, 235, 192, and 226, enough for a match play record of 2 - 2, which was good enough to place her as the #2 seed in the Stepladder Finals.

In this video Ashley is facing the #3 seed 17 year old Bobby Hornacek, a constant threat in all of the tournament clubs with his powerful high rev style. Bobby has won his fair share of Youth Titles already during his career and was looking to climb the ladder to claim another on this day.

Watch as he and Ashley bowl a high scoring intense match to see who will have the opportunity to face 21 year old Kevin Jones for the Championship. If you like competitive youth bowling, you won't want to miss this match or the Championship match.
