Florida Pole Fitness Championship 2013 - Official Judge & Special Guest Performer - Rebecca Starr

Rebecca Starr is a professional Circus Aerialist and Pole Acrobat. She comes from a background in Circus Arts and Gymnastics and is the 2010 US Pole Dance Federation East Coast Champion. For the past 10 years she has been performing professionally as a Contortionist, Aerialist and Acrobat in Cirque style productions around the world. She currently performs regularly as part of an Aerial Duo known as "Lyralicious" known for their unique displays of artistry and ingenuity in their Duo Lyra and Body Balancing acts.

Rebecca has spent the most of 2012 performing on World and National Tours with America's largest Cirque production company, Cirque Dreams, as a featured Aerialist and Pole Acrobat. In addition to performing as part of Lyralicious, she debuted an all new Freestanding Pole Act, the first of its kind to bridge the gap between Pole Dance and Circus Arts. Through performance and instruction she continues her work, introducing a new style of pole to audiences around the world and challenging the publics perception of Pole Dance through the promotion of Circus Arts.

When not performing with the circus, Rebecca teaches pole, aerial arts and flexibility classes at Body & Pole in NYC and at Vixen Fitness in Orlando, FL. Rebecca was also an online judge for this year's competition.
