Best place to live in Ireland? Skerries, County Dublin [4k]

With the small coastal town having been voted 'Best Place to Live in the World' and 'Safest Place to Live in Ireland', we wanted to see it up close and understand more about it.

Located 30km north of Dublin, the town is packed with restaurants and pubs, small shops, two long beaches and a 12th century heritage center with well-preserved mills. There is a lot to do and see for a weekend break.

Less well known than Malahide or Howth, this town is off the beaten tourist track. This helps the town retain its community spirit, with a relaxed seaside vibe, yet lively enough to find anything you are looking for.
