The Azores Tea Fields: Cha Gorreana // 4K Drone

The Cha Gorreana Plantation is located on the island of Sao Miguel in the Azores. It's one of the oldest tea plantations in Europe, and has been producing tea since 1883.

While you can go learn about the tea-making process, and how the unique combination of volcanic soil, mild temperatures, and high humidity provides ideal conditions for growing tea.

But many people go to hike through the tea plantation fields. You're free to wander the roads and paths through the tea fields on your own! They're impeccably manicured by crews who hand-pick the tea leaves.

The fields are even more stunning from the drone flying overhead!
